The child develops rapidly during the first three years and is gifted with sensitivities and absorbent mind. During this period the child absorbs all the information from the environment.
At Samvardhana we offer environment that is rich in language so that child can develop oral language. We offer a carefully prepared environment which has childsize materials so that the child can handle and develop coordination. We offer freedom within limits so that child can repeat and develop concentration.
The beauty of the Montessori approach is the mixed age group, which allows younger children to learn from older children through observation. It also allows older children to develop leadership qualities by guiding younger children. Mixed age group allows children to help each other instead of competing with each other.
Practical Life: These are the activities we conduct daily in our life. We offer these activities to children so that they can develop their coordination, concentration, willpower etc.
Sensorial: This young child is a sensorial explorer. The five senses are used by the child to take all the information from the environment to build intelligence.
Language: Through scientifically designed Montessori materials children start recognizing letters and start writing, then slowly they progress to write and read words. Children progressively achieve mechanical writing and reading. Our aim is to take the child from mechanical reading and writing to total reading and creative writing. Total reading is where the child starts appreciating ideas and starts enjoying the emotions written by others. Writing is when child starts self expressing and starts creative writing.
Mathematics: Mathematics can indeed be challenging for young learners due to its abstract nature. However, the Montessori approach offers a hands-on, experiential way for children to engage with mathematical concepts, making them more concrete and accessible. Montessori materials are designed to provide children with tangible representations of abstract mathematical ideas. For example, using manipulatives like counting beads or number rods helps children visualize and internalize concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. By physically manipulating these materials, children develop a deeper understanding of mathematical operations and relationships. At Samvardhana we provide a supportive environment and utilize scientifically designed materials. This helps children develop a strong foundation in mathematics while fostering a love for learning and exploration.
Culture: Geography, botany, zoology, Science, Art, Music are the different aspects of Montessori Culture. We offer various aspects of culture at Samvardhana, so that children start developing curiosity about the world around them.
At Samvardhana we understand the needs of the working parents and provide safe, friendly environment for their children.
